- I am considering enrollment. How should I prepare?
- Please read the application guidelines, those who satisfy the conditions of admission and who wish to enroll should submit their application documents. After the document review, we will inform you of the details regarding the internal selection exam.
- If I do not receive a study abroad visa and cannot enroll, will I be refunded?
- Even if an admission permit has been issued by the school, in the event that a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or a student visa is not granted, a refund will be provided in accordance with our school regulations. For further details, please refer to our Refund Policy and Application Guidelines.
- Are all Japanese classes done in Japanese?
- Students from diverse countries study together at our school, using Japanese as our common language. Our curriculum is designed to help students acquire natural Japanese by developing the four key skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—in a well-balanced manner.
- I want to work part-time after enrollment, can I?
- Students with a “Student Visa” can work part-time up to 28 hours per week, provided they obtain “Permission to Engage in Activity other than that Permitted under the Status of Residence” from the Immigration Services Agency.
- What should I do if I get sick or injured?
- We ensure all our students join the national health insurance program after coming to Japan. When you join, the co-pay for medical expenses will be 30%. When going to the hospital with a sickness or injury, please show them your national health insurance card. However, medical expenses not covered by insurance will be your responsibility. In addition to the National Health Insurance, we offer an extra compensation system for international students through the Federation of Japanese Language Education Institutions. This helps cover medical costs more effectively. Please see the Application Guidelines for more information.
- Do I have to live in the school dormitory?
- As a general rule, all students are required to reside in a designated dormitory for the first six months after admission. If you wish, you may continue living there until graduation.
- After graduation from Richinomori Japanese Language School Sendai, can I go to vocational school in Japan?
- We provide meticulous career guidance to ensure each student can enroll in their desired vocational school in Japan. In addition, we will also teach how to write application documents and practice interview examinations.
- Do you have staff who can speak foreign languages?
- Yes, we have staff members who can assist you in English, Nepali, and Hindi.
